What If Horses Were Carnivores?

My brother told me tahat if horses were carnivores there would be an end to all humanity. And he's right. They are so much bigger than us that they would kill us all and eat us! First, they would escape the barns. Then, they would rampage the cities. Then, they would kill us all and become the most powerful creature in the world. Eventually, they would develop opposable thumbs. They would settle colonies and then have them become states. Create a constitution. Have wars. Create automobiles. Yes, if horses were carnivores, we would not last long.

    I disagree! Cats are carnivores but they're tame, so if horses were carnivorous they would still be tame!

    well, Gracie, cats may be carnivores, but they are also much smaller than us. Now, ask yourself this: if cats are carnivores but tame, what about lions and tigers and leapords and jaguars?

    OK first of all, how would they escape from the stables even if they were carnivores? Would they chew away the wood? They're carnivores! They couldn't escape from the stables just to eat meat. And even if they are carnivores they wouldn't necessarily hunger for human flesh. Polar bears are carnivores and they don't rule the world, same with lions tigers leopards and jaguars. So it would be fine if horses were carnivores! But their "droppings" could no longer be used as manure lol

    Why not jellyfish???
    Jellyfish have deadly stingers and can kill people.
    Especially the Portugese Man-o-war.

    And omg if Jellyfish were carnivorous we would be in huge trouble! There are these things called Jelly Blooms, where there are so many jellies that they take up the water completely and there are more jellies than water. If you went swimming in that....     Horses can run really fast for a really long time. Not like, say a cheetah, which can run fast bbut only like for a minute. Horses can literally run for days. Not to mention, they can swim. Wat other carnivore can do that and is that big? Just imagine a clydesdale with huge fangs chasin ur for days. Oh dont worry. Ill jump in a river to get away. Nope. Gonna get you there too. Apparently they only thing that can take down a horse is quick sand. Evident in the movie the never ending story.

    And again, carnivorous does not mean ferocious. They would still be tame and taught not to eat humans!
